FIFA calls for minute’s silence after stampede (AP)

A minute of silence will be held before international soccer matches Tuesday and Wednesday after 19 fans died in a stadium stampede in the Ivory Coast. World soccer’s governing body FIFA is investigating the stampede at Abidjan’s Felix Houphouet-Boigny arena on Sunday before the World Cup qualifier with Malawi.
