Leafs sign son of ‘Slap Shot’ player (AP)

The son of one of the notorious Hanson brothers from the movie “Slap Shot” has joined the Toronto Maple Leafs. Christian Hanson, the son of Dave from “Slap Shot” movie fame, signed a two-year, entry-level deal with the team Tuesday. He recently completed his college career at Notre Dame and was an undrafted free agent.
